The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), during a raid at the house of a former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr. Yakubu Andrew, in Kaduna, allegedly recovered $9.2million and £72,000.
The former NNPC boss was arraigned by the anti-graft agency since 2016 for money laundering.
According to the EFCC (as seen on Vanguard), the recovered monies was said to be the largest sum of cash recovered in recent weeks by the anti-graft.
